Wow, what a month it has been. My step-father came for a visit (I guess he missed seeing the change of seasons). Of course
he arrived during a torrential downpour, so there wasn't much to see. By the time the rain cleared, on his third day here,
all the leaves had fallen off the trees. At least he got to rake a few leaves while he was here.
Rick celebrated his 35th birthday! We had dinner at Mom's house, and he got his dream guitar.
Somehow I have found myself involved in the student government at HACC. It seems like most of the people I talk to are
suprised to hear that we have a student government, let alone that I am finding time to dedicate to it.
